Kerry Rosen at Douglas Elliman Real Estate proudly supports North Shore Early Childhood Center's Spring Festival on April 21st, 2018 from 11am to 2pm. Festivities will take place at 440 Round Hill Road, Roslyn Heights NY 11577, which is on the grounds of Saint Mary’s, across the street from East Hills School.

·        Jedi Academy! Watch as Saber Guild - Endor Temple Jedi Masters battle Sith Lords in the ultimate fight against evil. Join in the effort to save the known universe with Endor Temple’s Padawan light saber training class.
·        Raise your hands as three live rock bands take the stage. Move and groove with a staff-led interactive music show. All from Bach to Rock.
·        Dance and twirl with princesses from If You Can Dream NYC Princess Parties.
·        Create mini-robots and crafts with Roslyn Academic Programs.
·        Relax and enjoy food from a variety of local restaurants and caterers.
·        Photo opportunities are available with characters.
·        Explore our indoor and outdoor playgrounds.
·        Take part in art activities, games, raffle prizes, silent auction items, and more!

As of January 2, Nassau County has made Tentative Assessments for the 2019 Tax Year (2018-2019 School Tax Year). 

If you haven't yet received a notice letter in the mail, the new assessment should be available on www.mynassauproperty.com.

According the the Nassau County Website, If you believe the assessment is inaccurate, you may appeal by filing an application for correction with the Assessment Review Commission by March 1, 2017. You can appeal online from this site from January 2, 2017 to March 1, 2017

The Fed announced Wednesday that it would increase interest rates by a quarter point to between 0.50% and 0.75% and gave guidance that three rate increases are anticipated in 2017. New customers shopping for a mortgage are likely to see little impact since this was an expected rate increase and is largely built into current rates. Customers with variable rate mortgages may see a rate increase in the future.

Citizen's Bank announced the following: 
The Federal Reserve had its Open Market Committee meeting on December 13 and 14. During this meeting, they raised the Federal Funds Target Rate (Fed Funds Rate). As a result, Citizens Bank is raising its prime rate from 3.50 percent to 3.75 percent, effective December 15, 2016. This increase is in line with the industry rate increase driven by the Federal Reserve’s decision to raise the Fed Funds Rate.
